Which Guard Do I Need?
Soft vs Hard Guard
Guard Thickness
We recommend a thicker night guard for more severe teeth grinding & a thinner guard for less severe cases. A 3MM guard will feel more prominent in your mouth than thinner guard.
Upper or Lower Guard
This choice is based off of what you’re most comfortable with. You only need to wear a night guard on one side of your mouth to protect yourself from grinding.

Use a toothbrush to clean your night guard every night. Avoid hot water, as it may warp the guard. We also recommend replacing your guard every 3-6 months for optimal hygiene.

What are the available thickness options for Cheeky's night guard?
We offer both hard, soft and hybrid night guards. Our soft night guards come in 1.5mm, 2mm, and 3mm thicknesses. Our hard guard comes in .76mm thickness & our hybrid guard is 2mm thick.
How do I choose between the soft and hard night guard?
Soft guards are ideal for those who grind more than they clench, while the hard guard provides extra protection for clenchers and can also act as a retainer. Both options are available for testing with your impressions.

How do I take impressions for the custom night guard?
Your kit comes with two sets of trays and putty. Simply mix the putty, place it in the tray, and bite down for 4-5 minutes to create an impression. Mail it back in the pre-paid shipping mailer, and we'll craft your guard based on those impressions. Your return label will have been emailed to you within 72 hours of your purchase!
What is included in the Cheeky impression kit?
The kit contains three upper trays, two three trays, two sets of impression putty, detailed instructions, and a pre-paid return mailer. Your return label will have been emailed to you within 3 days of your purchase! This makes it easy to take your impressions and send them back for your custom night guard.
