Missouri will raise its minimum wage and establish paid sick leave requirements for employers starting in 2025, under a Nov. 5 ballot measure that voters approved.
Proposition A passed with roughly 57.5% of the statewide vote, according to unofficial election results.
Minimum Wage
The hourly minimum wage will increase to $13.75 for 2025 and to $15 for 2026, under Proposition A. Starting Jan. 1, 2027, the minimum wage rate will be subject to annual inflation-based adjustments.
Missouri’s current minimum wage for calendar year 2024 is $12.30.
