Fluor Corporation plans to sell a portion of its NuScale Power stake for $1.6 billion, aiming for a $1 billion net profit.
Over the last decade, Fluor invested $600 million in NuScale’s advanced small modular reactor (SMR) technology, now approved in the U.S. Known for large-scale construction and disaster response, Fluor is tapping into the growing clean energy market.
In Q3, Fluor posted revenue of $4.23 billion, up 7.31% year-over-year, with net income rising 177.05% to $169 million.
