36W Magnetic Retrofit Kit

Went to replace a recessed 4 tube fluorescent light fixture with LED tubes. The 4 LEDs were very bright. I think 2 of the fluorescent bulbs may have burned out since I lived here and never noticed. Also, there was a loud hum when turned on. Not being able to do the things I used to. Bypassing the ballast looked like one of them. These magnetic strips are the way to go! Very easy to install and I probably will never have to bother with that fixture again. Highly recommend!

Troffer LED Retrofit Kit--Outstanding in every way!

This has to be, hands-down, the easiest way to upfit old troffers that there is. Literally, take out your bulbs, take out the ballast, put in new LEDs, which have magnetic backs, wire in new ballast, which also has a magnetic back, and voila! You're done. It literally took me five minutes. And saves you all the hassle of having to replace the troffer, which on older ones can sometimes not be easy. Fantastic kit.

I plan on converting 48 4" fluorescent fixtures to led. These lights are used in the warehouse to illuminate 4 aisles. Is there a way to convert or modify the fixtures to be on motion detectors

Thanks for reaching out. Most fixtures include a knockout on one or both ends. Typically you can wire in a motion sensor through the external knockout that will work accordingly. An led driver is used with the magnetic retro-fit strip kits. Each kit includes the magnetic strips and a led driver. There are detailed instructions on our spec sheet on how to disconnect the existing ballast and connect the led driver.

Please wrap the exposed end of each individual dimming wire separately, with electrical tape. The exposed leads cannot touch any metal surface, or each other.

I have four 8 foot double flourescent tube lights in my garage/shop that are dying one-by one. I would like the easiest, most cost efficient way to replace them with leds. Will these 4 foot retrofit magnetic fixtures work? I’ve seen some screw-in/joined 4 foot retrofits that can be used to replace the 8 foot tubes but can’t find out more info or instructions or costs. I will have to do the work myself. —-70 year old female with some wiring skills. I could also get replacement 4 foot fixtures instead of the 8 foots but want them easily likable. Hard wired. I only want todo it once. Garage isfullofstuff and I need to move stuff to install new lights and need new lights to clean the garage.MYMRXIDTIMG LIGHTS ARE BASIC EXPOSED TUBES IN A FIXTURE (no glass cover). Don’t need to be pretty. Thanks for your recommendations on the easiest, most cost efficient andeological choices. Thanks!

For the 8' fixture with multiple lamps, we would suggest the 60W version which contains (4) 4' strips.
