Extremely comfortable and fits well under jackets. I like the tail bone protection too. Don’t hesitate on this one!
The protector is comfortable to wear and with the hip pocket well suited for food.
I had previously tried a strap-based spine protector and it just didn’t feel right. After reading a great review of this one in the WSJ, I tried it - and I really like it. I’ve been skiing with it multiple times, and the vest format just works. It’s relatively lightweight, and the zip up vest holds it in place just right. I’m looking forward to using this in the summer for mountain biking as well.
This vest gives me peace of mind, a hydration bladder without needing a full backpack, an extra layer for warmth, AND bonus pockets! I'll never ski without it again.
I went off size chart with chest size and figured snugger would be better. Once zipped, it fits nice and secure. The back pad is comfy. I took a slam yesterday at Big Snow American Dream… if you know that indoor spot in NJ it’s pretty FIRM! Felt awesome to pop back u. Woke up today not sore at all! At 41 years old and 27 years on shred, it feels awesome to be prepared for the occasional slam that happens at 41 and this “inherently dangerous activity!”
