This review is about the "Surface Mounting Kit" option being sold as an option for the " x 4 Foot G3 Back Lit LED Flat Panel, 7500 Lumen Max, Selectable Wattage and CCT light. I ordered three lights with the mounting kit option. The lights arrived in a timely manner but without the mounting kits. A few days later I received an email notice that the mounting kits had shipped. That shipment arrived several days later. The mounting kits contained only the side and end rails. NO ASSEMBLY SCREWS AND NO INSTRUCTIONS. A phone call to the 888 number was answered by someone who said they "will pass on my concern and I may receive an answer on Monday." My experience speaks to a lack of quality control as well as the unavailability of support.

Stymied but ultimately saved by great service

I bought the 4 set of these. Unfortunately there was a small issue with how the page was suggesting which products (switches and remotes) to pair with these. This has been since fixed on the page but I would suggest a link to the waresense blue switch still be added to the options. I spent a solid amount of time trying to figure out the wiring with no luck but was saved when called customer service. Immediately they knew what had happened and shipped me out a new switch that day free of charge. The lights look great and my plants are doing well. Thanks!

I recently bought four 2’x4’ LED backlit lamps along with the surface mounts for my shop. After DIY installation one of the LED modules was flickering and humming. After a few texts with customer service they sent me a replacement LED. So cudos to the service department because they made things right without a hassle. I highly recommend this company.

All Stained glass lets the light through different so finding the correct setback and intensity is important. Best advice is to try different sizes till you get the effect you want.

I have a fairly large stained glass panel that I want to backlight. If I put two of your panels edge to edge, is the light diffuse enough so that a low light line isn't readily apparent? How far back from the stained glass would I have to go? J. Barrera

If you're putting two 2x2 fixtures together you might want to use one 2x4 then you would not have to worry about the low light line. (i dont believe there will be one) If the stained glass is approximately the same size as the lights, I would set them back about 1 foot.
