Disappointed

It’s beautiful and would be great aside from my constant worry that my daughter could be in pain from the large plastic piece that sticks up in the middle of the tub. It looks like this has been changed more recently but unfortunately we were gifted this one. Was so excited to use but now pretty bummed.

Highly unsatisfied as the product was redesigned. My daughter was a premie and enjoyed the bath until she was bigger. The tub started to get really uncomfortable with the center bar. I noticed it was redesigned and likely due to others complaining of comfort as well. The center bar left red marks on her bottom after every bath and she would arch to get away from it. The company would only offer a discount to purchase a new tub, instead of an exchange for the new design. This is just bad business as it correlates directly with a baby and comfort levels and inconsistency with others appearing to get exchanges for the new design.
Excited to use soon!

We are expecting soon and purchased the bath tub along with Lalo's bathtime accessories and towels. They are all so beautifully designed and we can't wait to use them for our baby!

I bought the original version of this tub because I loved that it was designed for different stages/ages and that it could be used as a toy or sensory bin once the baby grew out of it. I was also very surprised at how heavy duty the tub was. The only negative was the pole in the center was uncomfortable for my little one. So, I was really excited when I noticed that they redesigned the product. I was able to get the new version of the product and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s easier to wash my baby and seems a lot more comfortable for her. I highly recommend this tub!
Love!

Love the design, comfort and aesthetics of this tub! My baby girl loves it - she's now 4 months old and this tub helps her to sit comfortably while I'm bathing her! We're so happy with it.

Too slippery, my baby slips around in it and can’t use it because of that. Don’t think it’s designed well for that reason.

I wanted to love this tub but we just haven’t been able to get it to work for our now 7-month old. The newborn position never felt supportive enough, and the infant position is just not comfortable for our son because of the support post, no matter what we try. So, we continue to bathe him in the sink with our mesh newborn tub that had better support, and I’m hopeful the tub without the insert will work for him in the next month or so when he’s a little more sturdy with sitting in his own.
Makes me Dread Bathtime.

Large, very heavy, very cumbersome, baby is very uncomfortable and slides all over the place. Almost impossible to bathe them because they easily slip side to side. The centerpiece is in a terrible position and ultimately isn’t tall enough, so they end up sitting on it right on their perineum more than actually straddling it. It has weirdly been both an absolutely enormous item (very hard to find a place for it to live in your home) but at the same time, the way it’s designed, the baby was too big from the start? We had a small baby and she’s been “too big” for this item from newborn age. The back of their head and neck ends up sitting on the top rim. Just so uncomfortable all around, erring on the side of dangerous.

The insert is fantastic. I love that aspect. The tub without the insert isn’t the best. My 7 month old tumbles around in there and the shape and construction makes me nervous he’ll hurt himself on the rim of the tub. The rim is thin and could really do damage if you come down hard on the top of it, which my wiggly little one wants to do. The thinness also makes it easy for him to grab the sides and try to pull himself up, which is also not what you want (and increases the chances of coming crashing down on top of the rim).I like that it keeps him contained and I think it’s better than being in the big tub but I wish the construction was a little different.
Miss the old design

I bought a second tub for my parents house across the country and did not realize there was a different design. I’m guessing the redesign is better for older kids as now my baby who is 5 mo slides down and has to be held in the tub the entire time. The old design was a bit more supported and kept her more elevated so she didn’t need to be held and I could have the water higher!
Awesome Redesign

It's super heavy, and doesn't drain super well. You have to lift a crazy heavy basin out of your tub and wipe it down every time. I wouldn't recommend, esp for the price.

Love that Lalo redesigned their bath tub and that it’s versatile for all the different stages of bath time! Pros - you don’t have to fill up a full bathtub for this to work and it looks comfortable and is functional with the dual drain system. Cons - I wish the backrest was a little softer, maybe with a little head pillow. This depends on how long your babe is though, my guy is a tall one! My 3 month old kicks his legs straight out to touch the end and his head sort of rests on the edge of the tub. Overall a great and easy tub for bath time!

I purchased the first version of the tub in January for my then 6 month old and he would cry whenever I’d sit him down because the nub would cause him discomfort. I only used it twice and then the tub just sat there. When I saw the new design I got so excited because it looked so much more comfortable and it is! My little guy now enjoys bath time again and doesn’t fuss when I sit him down. Thank you for listening to your customers and making this change! Both mama and baby are very happy with it!
